Tale of One City
Tale of One City was a literary/arts magazine for Dallas high school students. We invited teens to submit poetry, prose, music, art, and anything else that best embodies their Dallas experience. Tale of One City was founded on the fundamental idea that through sharing our stories, we can unite our voices as one.
Funded by an SMU Big iDeas grant, the Tale of One City was started in 2010 by two SMU students who hoped to begin a conversation about Dallas and its citizens. As a freshman, I became involved as the Advertising Chair, designing flyers and promotional materials, as well as the 2011-2012 magazine which can be found on Issuu.
As the co-director for the 2012-2013, I was excited to lead the program and release the third edition of the online magazine in late March 2013.
